Another WTA Tour season has concluded, with many players now enjoying downtime after a busy 2025.
Unlike on the ATP Tour, where Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz shared the four Grand Slam titles, there were four different winners on the WTA Tour.
Madison Keys claimed her first Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, with her fellow American Coco Gauff then winning the French Open.
Shortly after, Iga Swiatek lifted the iconic trophy at Wimbledon, with Aryna Sabalenka then winning the US Open.

How much money the four female Grand Slam winners earned in 2025
Along with their titles, the four players were rewarded handsomely for their efforts, with all four among the top 10 highest-paid female athletes in 2025.
Just as she did in 2023 and 2024, Gauff topped the list compiled by Sportico, earning a total of $31 million in prize money and endorsements.
The American superstar was followed directly by world number one Sabalenka, who earned $30 million in 2025.
And third in the list was Swiatek with $23.1 million, while Keys occupied eighth place with earnings of $13.4 million.

Tennis stars dominate 2025 highest-paid female athletes list
It was indeed a year dominated by tennis players, who account for 10 of the 15 highest-paid female athletes.
Qinwen Zheng, Elena Rybakina and Naomi Osaka are all within the top 10, while Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula are just outside.
And tennis legend Venus Williams earned $10.2 million in 2025, having returned to the WTA Tour after a 16-month break.
Completing the top 15 were golfing duo Nelly Korda and Jeeno Thitikul, skiing star Eileen Gu, basketball icon Caitlin Clark, and gymnast Simone Biles.
There were also seven tennis stars in the top 10 in 2022 and 2023, with that figure having dropped to six in 2024.
