Emma Raducanu was announced to be joining Uniqlo as her new clothing sponsor.
Raducanu had sported Nike since the age of 15, three years before she won the US Open title in 2021.
This deal was only bettered by Raducanu’s US Open title run, with the contract coming to an end at the end of 2025.
It has now been confirmed that Raducanu has switched from Nike to Uniqlo, making the exact same change that Roger Federer did in 2018.

Roger Federer earns nearly 10 times the amount of Emma Raducanu for Uniqlo deal
Federer ended his 24 year partnership with Nike in 2018, before joining Uniqlo on a 10-year deal.
This deal is reportedly worth around $300million, meaning that Federer is pocketing $30million a year from Uniqlo, even four years after his retirement.
The deal Federer has is significantly more than Raducanu will be reportedly earning annually from Uniqlo, which is said to be around $3.5million.
However, Raducanu is able to receive performance bonuses from Uniqlo, and it is far more than the reported $130,000 she was receiving annually from her deal with Nike.
Raducanu’s deal is also more than world number one Aryna Sabalenka’s $3million deal with Nike.
Some of the other reported lucrative deals in tennis include Carlos Alcaraz with Nike ($20million), Jannik Sinner with Nike ($15.8million), Novak Djokovic with Lacoste ($12million) and Coco Gauff with New Balance ($10million).
When will Emma Raducanu wear Uniqlo for the first time on court?
It will not be long until Raducanu sports her new Uniqlo kit for the first time in a match, with Indian Wells taking place just next week.
Raducanu has had mixed results at Indian Wells in the past, having achieved her best result in 2023 when she reached the fourth round.
However, last year was a more disappointing visit to the Californian desert for Raducanu, having lost in the first round to Moyuka Uchijima.
Raducanu is already confirmed to go further than that this year, as she receives a bye to the second round as the 25th seed.
The attire she will be wearing is not the only big change for Raducanu, who will also be working with Mark Petchey again in Indian Wells.
Indian Wells will get underway next week, with the main draw starting on Wednesday, March 4.
