West Bromwich Albion allegedly turn down a £1million Ben Foster bid from Watford after claims of a £10m valuation so how much is he actually worth?

West Bromwich Albion have rejected a £1m from Watford for Ben Foster, according to the Daily Mail, as the goalkeeper seeks an exit from the club.
Foster appears to have made a complete u-turn on his future, previously stating that he would stay with the Baggies following their relegation and try and help get them back into the Premier League.

Yet now the 35-year-old wants to leave and is set to be disciplined by the club after refusing to join up with their pre-season training camp in Portugal.

How much is Foster worth?
If the ‘keeper wants to leave the Hawthorns then it makes little sense trying to force him to stay, but how much can West Brom realistically hope to receive for the England international?
There were claims from the Sun when the Hornets’ interest was first reported that they would be prepared to pay £10m for Foster, but that valuation now seems way off having only bid a 10th of that.

Perhaps the best benchmark is the £7m (BBC) West Ham United recently paid Swansea City for Lukasz Fabianski, as the stopper has also been sold by a team after their drop into the Championship.
However, Fabianski is two years younger than Foster at 33-years-old and therefore £7m is probably the absolute maximum the West Midlands side can hope to get for the Englishman.
