Late heartbreak at Everton meant Bob Bradley is still without three points during his time as Swansea City boss.

Results elsewhere left Swansea rock bottom of the Premier League and five points from safety.

The Swans have two monumental games in their next three including matches with relegation rivals Crystal palace and Sunderland to play but what points return will they need? What is the realistic expectation from their next three games?

Crystal palace (Home) – 3 points

Swansea must take three points from this one or the hard-worked draw at Everton becomes all-but meaningless.

Palace are down there with Swansea and a home win could pull Bradley’s men back into the race while dragging their rivals closer.

Pardrew’s men have a number of dangerous threats so it won’t be easy but Swansea simply have to find a way to be better than the likes of Crystal Palace if they want to survive.

Do Swansea have the talent to match Benteke? Zaha? Time will tell.

Tottenham Hotspur (Away) – 0 points

It’s fair to say that any points return from the trip to North London will be a positive result. Not many teams will come away from White Hart Lane with a point this season, let alone three so Swansea won’t’ be holding their breath.

Having said that, they have to give it everything and a surprise result could be what’s needed to really ignite their gloomy season.

It would probably be something of a miracle to return to South Wales clutching a point or three for Swansea but if they can do so, they could find themselves right back in the mix.

Sunderland (Home) – 3 points

This is by far the biggest game of the lot and if Swansea don’t take three points here, they could be as good as down, barring a miracle.

Sunderland will be down and around the relegation battle until the final games of the season and Swansea must make sure they get the better of them, especially at home.

Bob Bradley’s men will be in deep trouble if they can’t take three points here and with recent form in mind, it’s no guarantee for the Swans.
