Speaking on the Seaman Says Podcast, David Seaman has had a go at predicting the result of Wolves vs Arsenal at the weekend.

Wolves come into this one as heavy underdogs as they face the league leaders, but with the Julen Lopetegui era now underway, a new manager bounce could help the Midlands club get past the Gunners.

Wolves have been a thorn in Arsenal’s side for the past few seasons, giving the north London club a run for their money whenever the two sides have met lately.

However, despite Wolves going into this game with a bit more positivity, Seaman has predicted a comfortable win for Arsenal.

Wolves 1-3 Arsenal

Seaman predicted a comfortable win for his former team.

“Wolves against Arsenal, the big one at 7:45 on Saturday. How many goals?” Seaman joked.

“We know which way I’m going don’t we? I’m going to go with 3-1 to Arsenal,”

Favourites

Arsenal come into this one as firm favourites, and, to be honest, they should make easy work of Wolves.

Wolves aren’t scoring goals this season, and the Gunners have one of the strongest defences in the entire Premier League.

As long as the north London club’s attackers have their shooting boots on, they should come away with three points here, even though Molineux hasn’t been the happiest of hunting grounds for Mikel Arteta’s side in recent years.

Lopetegui has an uphill task on his hands at Wolves, and sadly, he hasn’t got the softest of landings in the Midlands as his side face Arsenal in the first game since his appointment.

As Seaman says, this should be a straightforward win for the Gunners.
