Step aside Harry Kane because there is another goalscoring machine making his way to the top in this Tottenham Hotspur side… Rodrigo Bentancur.
Luis Suarez was impressed by the Spurs midfielder after he netted a brace as Antonio Conte’s side recorded a 4-3 win over Leeds United on Saturday, as he posted on the player’s Instagram.
GOALSCORER BENTANCUR
Not only is Bentancur scoring goals, but the 25-year-old is also finding the back of the net during important moments for the team.
He scored a crucial equaliser against Sporting Lisbon in the Champions League, as well as the winner during his side’s comeback win against Bournemouth.
Well, he managed to score yet another winner again, this time against Jesse Marsch’s all-action and in-your-face Leeds side, who took the lead on three occasions in north London, only to head back to Yorkshire empty-handed.

That’s five goals in all competitions for the defensive-midfielder this season – that’s three more than he managed during his time at Juventus.
He played 181 matches in Turin and has only played 39 games for Spurs since his January move, if that’s not Antonio Conte magic, then nothing is.
Perhaps the Italian should let him loose a little bit more because, whilst he might be a hard-hitting player by nature, he does have magic, flair and sheer arrogance when on the ball.
Nonetheless, when Bentancur posted on IG that he is ‘so proud’ of the ‘determination’ shown by his team, he received a little message from his fellow countryman.
‘Ah Okay. How are you playing as a nine?” laughed Suarez. “Congratulations, Rodri.”
