Leeds United look to be taking a stable squad into next season.
Leeds United’s recent form, not to mention the fact they’ve only two players out of contract, could mean a rare summer of stability at Elland Road.
Barring any major sales, the Whites’ squad could look much the same come August – though with any luck, there’ll be a few sprinkles of quality added here and there.
Possible departures
Out of contract: Mirco Antenucci, Bailey Peacock-Farrell
Expiring loan deals: Tom Adeyemi, Liam Bridcutt, Mustapha Carayol
Arrivals
Loan returns: Tommaso Bianchi
Contracted players
Goalkeepers: Marco Silvestri, Ross Turnbull
Defenders: Scott Wootton, Geatano Berardi, Lewie Coyle, Sol Bamba, Giuseppe Bellsuci, Liam Cooper, Charlie Taylor
Midfielders: Lewis Cook, Alex Mowatt, Toumani Diagouraga, Luke Murphy, Kalvin Phillips, Casper Sloth, Stuart Dallas, Jordan Botaka, Tommaso Bianchi*
*Loan to Ascoli includes permanent option
Forwards: Chris Wood, Souleymane Doukara, Lee Erwin
Areas in need of attention?
Re-signing Bridcutt should be a priority for whoever’s in charge, while an Antenucci replacement will likely be sought. A better winger and centre-back wouldn’t go amiss, while cover for Taylor at left-back is currently in short supply.
