Leeds United fans still admire ex star.

You can take the boy away from Leeds United, but you can’t take Leeds out of the boy.
Ex-Leeds ace Lewis Cook showed this week that he is still keeping a close eye on his old side’s results.
Cook sent a message to current Leeds maestro Kalvin Phillips, applauding the team’s victory over Sheffield Wednesday.
Cook was sold by Leeds in 2016, with the club cashing in, fearing losing him on a free transfer a year later.
He has had a mixed time at Bournemouth, getting into the England squad, only to suffer with injuries.
Cook tore his ACL last year and will not be back until next season.
In an ideal world for Leeds they would buy him back upon winning promotion.

Bournemouth however would not be willing to sell, and Marcelo Bielsa’s lack of trust in Izzy Brown since his recovery from an ACL injury would suggest he wouldn’t be keen either.
That hasn’t stopped Leeds fans dreaming though. Here is a look at how they responded to former favourite Cook…
