Tottenham youngster is playing in Australia.

It’s fair to say Tottenham Hotspur striker Shayon Harrison is in the last chance saloon at the club.

Harrison had unsuccessful loan spells with Yeovil Town and Southend and is now in Australia with Melbourne City.

He made the move on deadline day, to play in the A-League.

Harrison has not had the instant success he would have liked.

City are in a mid-ranked 6th place out of 12 teams in the division.

Harrison has played four games for them without scoring a goal, totalling 307 minutes of action.

In his defence the young striker has been shunted around a bit, playing centrally for some of the time, and otherwise picked out wide.

His most recent appearance was his shortest stint yet, subbed off after 64 minutes.

Harrison has been prolific at youth level for Tottenham, scoring 26 goals in 50 games for the under-23 team.

Whether it be a lack of confidence or quality at senior level, he is failing to produce, totalling just one goal in 32 games on loan.

Harrison’s contract at Tottenham is up at the end of the season, and his time is running out.
