Everton were linked with the Porto winger last summer, but a move to Goodison Park failed to materialise.
Everton were linked with a move for Porto winger Yacine Brahimi in the summer. Could the Toffees renew their interest in January?

How is he getting on?
Brahimi looks to have rediscovered his form in recent weeks, having missed the start of the campaign and been reintroduced slowly – starting six games in all competitions. Those outings, in addition to another eight as a substitute, have yielded an impressive four goals and two assists.
Do Everton still need him?
Even before Yannick Bolasie’s injury, Everton were expected to add to their wide options, and Brahimi is likely to have been considered. Reports suggest the Toffees are closing in on a deal to sign Memphis Depay from Manchester United, however, with Charlton’s Ademola Lookman another potential arrival – although the latter is being tipped to return to the Valley on loan.

Can they get him next month?
Porto are renowned sellers, however, the Sun reports that Brahimi – who is said to be interesting United and Arsenal too – will not come cheap, with another two-and-a-half years on his contract and a release clause set at £50.5 million. Everton, you feel, could find better value elsewhere.
Verdict: No deal
