Could Mauricio Pochettino bring the Frenchman to White Hart Lane in January?
Tottenham Hotspur were linked with a move for Sebastien Haller during the summer transfer window – could Spurs renew their interest in the Utrecht striker next month?
How is he getting on?
Haller has picked up where he left off last season, scoring 10 goals in 19 outings in all competitions, and interest is again expected as the winter transfer period approaches.
Do Tottenham still need him?
Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are doing their bits, but as they say you can never have too many goalscorers. The plan was for Vincent Janssen to weigh in, but the Dutchman has struggled since his own move from the Eredivisie and is still to score from open play.

Could they sign him next month?
Haller’s agent admitted recently that his client is ready for a bigger project than Utrecht and Spurs could be among the front-runners, should they make an approach this winter. However, it is unlikely another striker will arrive unless one of the current group (most likely Janssen) leaves. Head coach Pochettino has shown with the departures of Benjamin Stambouli and Clinton N’Jie that he is not afraid to rectify mistakes quickly, and were Janssen to suffer the same fate then a move for the Frenchman could be on the cards.
Would Haller be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?
