The former Queens Park Rangers target has been among the goals against this season.
Queens Park Rangers were linked with a move for Lee Gregory in the summer – could the goal-shy R’s return for the Millwall striker next month?

How is he getting on?
Gregory scored 18 League One goals last season and his goal against Gillingham on New Year’s Eve means he is now over half-way to matching that tally. The 28-year-old’s form led to the Lions extending his contract by another year in September.
Do QPR still need him?
Very much so. Ian Holloway’s side are the second-lowest scorers in the Championship this term and the R’s boss has already admitted a desire to bring in a new centre-forward next month – ideally in the Glenn Murray mould. Gregory would is not the worst likeness – both physically and background wise.

Can they get him in January?
Millwall are said to have wanted £2 million in the summer and given Gregory’s form, as well as the recent contract extension, he is likely to cost in excess of that amount this winter. QPR may not have that sort of money to hand, but with a couple of smart sales that could yet change.
Verdict: Right player, but the price needs to be right too.
