Leeds sold Samu Saiz in the summer.

Samu Saiz was ushered out of Leeds United by the backdoor this summer, sold to Girona in a cut price deal.
It was a backwards step for the Spaniard, who departed Leeds on loan last summer for Getafe.
Getafe were at the time flying high in La Liga, hoping to land a European spot. At Girona, he has joined a team playing in Spain’s second division.
Saiz is familiar with Spain’s second tier, shining with Huesca and convincing Leeds to snap him up in 2017.
Back in his homeland, Saiz has not had the start he would have wanted.
Through the opening four games for Girona, Saiz has featured in only two.
And of those two matches, Saiz has not started either, making two substitute appearances for a combined 37 minutes.
For the last two games Saiz has not featured at all, being an unused substitute.

Even worse, Girona did not win their opening two matches, but in the games Saiz did not feature, his side have won them both.
Getting into their side is going to be tough in the short term.
Saiz’s career has gone backwards over the past year.It is not necessarily his decision to Leeds to blame, more that he has not seized his chance back in Spain.
He has a big task ahead to turn it around.
