The Serbian has been struggling for first-team football in Germany.
Tottenham Hotspur’s Milos Veljkovic replaces Vlad Chiriches
Tottenham Hotspur have recently produced plenty of top young talents. But whilst plenty have made it at the club, others have not, and moved on elsewhere in hunt of first-team football.
One player whose departure was somewhat disappointing was Serbian youth international Milos Veljkovic.
The talented defender or central midfielder had impressed at youth level with his country, winning the 2015 under-20 World Cup with Serbia in 2015.
He made two Premier League appearances for Spurs during his time at the club. But with his first-team chances limited he left in February – joining Bundesliga side Werder Bremen in hope of playing more regular first-team football.

So how has this former Spurs player got on since he left London for Germany?
It has not been a move straight into first-team football.
He has played 90 minutes in the Bundesliga for Werder Bremen just once so far and has been playing with the Werder Bremen II side on most occasions.
First-team football at Tottenham doesn’t look like it was coming. Competition in his positions in fierce- even from fellow graduates such as Cameron Carter-Vickers, Harry Winks and Tom Carroll.
Hopefully Veljkovic can make a name for himself at Werder Bremen but, at the moment, Tottenham will not feel they are missing out.
