Leeds United fans are pretty excited about winger Raphinha – and who can blame them at this point.
The Whites splashed the cash to sign Raphinha from Rennes on deadline day in October, and has already shown promising signs.
He went close to scoring against Arsenal on his first Premier League start, hitting the woodwork late on in the 0-0 draw at Elland Road.
The Brazilian then scored a superb winner against Everton last weekend, hammering home Jack Harrison’s pass to give Leeds all three points.
Fans will now hope to see him kick on cause more problems, and any supporters planning to play as Leeds on Football Manager 2021 may want to know just how good he is from the start of the game.
Raphinha is rated at three-and-a-half stars upon starting the game, behind only Kalvin Phillips and Rodrigo.
His best roles are as an Inverted Winger or Inside Forward from the right flank, cutting inside on his left foot to cause mayhem.
With 17 Flair, 16 Technique, 16 Dribbling, 15 Pace and 15 Acceleration, Raphinha will be a threat for any full backs, and he has great end product too with 14 Crossing, 14 Passing, 13 Corners, 13 Finishing and 13 Long Shots.
Raphinha also has 15 Off The Ball, 14 Determination 12 Work Rate and 13 Tackling, showing how great of a fit he is for Bielsa’s intense style of play.
In terms of traits, Raphinha has both Gets Into Opposition Area and Shoots With Power, as well as Tries Long Range Passes and Cuts Inside From Right Wing – making a real threat around the box and on the break.
One problem is that Raphinha also has the ‘Argues With Officials’ trait, meaning he could pick up a few yellow cards over the course of your time playing with Leeds.
Still, if you start as Leeds United on Football Manager 2021, Raphinha will be one of your most important players – and that may well be the case in real life too having impressed so far.
