Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden has raved about Tottenham Hotspur and England international striker Harry Kane in The Times.
Foden and Kane are England international teammates.
And both players are part of the Three Lions’ squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
Tottenham striker Kane is arguably the most important player in the England team and will have to be on top of his game in Qatar for Gareth Southgate’s side to win the World Cup.
Manchester City’s Phil Foden on Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane
Foden said about Kane: “We can’t always rely on Harry [Kane] because teams are going to try to cut him off, because of how good he is.
“It is going to take not just Harry to step up this tournament. Us attacking players are going to have to step up as well at times.”
When sked about the differences and similarities between Kane and City striker Erling Haaland, Foden said: “Well, they both can score goals, can’t they!
“Harry likes to drop, he can pick that pass off, whereas Erling is more, ‘I want to be in front of the goal and stay there and everything that comes my way I’m going to score.’ It’s a pleasure to play with both.”

Big player
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane will play a big role for England at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.
The striker will lead the line for the Three Lions and will have to bang in the goals.
Kane is arguably the best and most important player in the England squad, and if the 1966 world champions are to make an impact in Qatar, then the Spurs star will have to be on top of his game.
The Tottenham striker is in good form as well at the moment.
The 29-year-old has scored 12 goals and given one assist in 15 Premier League matches and has scored one goal and given two assists in six UEFA Champions League games for Spurs so far this season.
