Stuart Findlay, who began his career at Celtic, could help leave Rangers’ season in tatters tomorrow.

Celtic scored a last-minute goal on Sunday to move eight points clear of Rangers in the Premiership title race.

In fact, it’s not looking so much like a race anymore as Celtic cruise to an eighth successive league title.

Rangers can still salvage something from what’s been a very encouraging first season under Steven Gerrard by winning the Scottish Cup.

The Gers host Kilmarnock tomorrow in a Scottish Cup replay at Ibrox, and a former Hoops player is available for the visitors.

Steve Clarke told The Record that Stuart Findlay is back and ready to combat the available Alfredo Morelos, who missed the Blues’ last two games through suspension.

Both of those games ended 0-0 and if the former Celtic centre-back – released by the Parkhead side in 2016 – can successfully contain the problematic Colombian then it’s very possible that Gerrard’s side will go out.

If Rangers don’t score, Killie have every chance of progressing and the 23-year-old could play a big, big role in that.

Defeat tomorrow would leave the Gers’ season in tatters – exactly what Brendan Rodgers wants as he goes in search of a third successive domestic treble.
