With Everton linked to a range of players already, we have a look at what their team could look like next season.

Goalkeeper: Jordan Pickford

For all of Everton’s problems this season, Pickford has been one of their positive additions. Granted, the youngster has made some errors, but he remains an excellent talent for his age.

Right-back: Seamus Coleman

Coleman should be fully fit next season, and that will be a major boost for Everton.

Centre-back: Michael Keane

Keane has endured a difficult first season at Everton, but has shown some signs of promise in recent times and may just have done enough to hold on to his place for next term.

Centre-back: Phil Jones

The Toffees have been heavily linked with the Manchester United man, who would surely come straight into their starting line-up.

Left-back: Luke Shaw

The Manchester United defender looks set to move on, with Everton a likely destination. Left-back is a position they need to improve.

Central midfield: Idrissa Gueye

Another midfielder who looks set to keep his place in Everton’s team, Gueye remains an important player.

Central midfield: Jack Wilshere

Everton are willing to pay big to bring Jack Wilshere to Goodison Park, according to the latest reports. If he could stay fit, he would surely walk straight into their starting line-up.

Right-wing: Theo Walcott

Walcott has been an excellent addition for Everton ever since he arrived from Arsenal in January.

Attacking midfield: Gylfi Sigurdsson

The Icelandic international started to show signs of form before injury ended his season.

Left-wing: Ademola Lookman

With Allardyce possibly leaving, it may be time that Lookman got his chance in Everton’s starting line-up.

Striker: Cenk Tosun

After a slow start, Tosun now has four goals in his last three games and looks at home at Goodison Park.
