Liverpool’s injury problems got a little worse on Tuesday night.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp caused concern when he omitted Alisson for last night’s Champions League win over Ajax.
Klopp confirmed pre-match that Alisson is nursing a hamstring issue and probably wouldn’t be back for two weeks at a minimum.
With Liverpool already having Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Thiago Alcantara on the sidelines, this isn’t ideal for the German manager.
It’s perhaps even more worrying because Alisson seems to pick up more injuries than your average goalkeeper.

The good news is that Caoimhin Kelleher, who replaced Alisson against the Dutch side, had a cracking game last night.
The 22-year-old Irishman pulled off some fine saves and if he can play like this every week until the Brazilian is back, the absence should and could be minimal.
