Jack Grealish is yet to make an appearance for Aston Villa this season.

Jack Grealish is edging ever closer to a return from injury for Aston Villa, but there must be some concern over how he gets back into the team.
Grealish has missed the entirety of the campaign so far with injury, after damaging his kidney in pre-season.
The 22-year-old has recently made a return to Villa’s under-23 side though, as he steps up his comeback.

Grealish is expected to be available for Villa again soon – but there is no obvious way for Steve Bruce to get the youngster into his team.
Albert Adomah has been in absolutely scintillating form on the wing, Josh Onomah and Conor Hourihane have both offered creativity from more central areas, and Robert Snodgrass seems to have settled in at Villa Park now.
Dropping any of the quartet to make room for Grealish wouldn’t make sense for Bruce, and it means that the England youth international now faces a fight for his place.

Grealish was expected to have a key role to play for Villa this term, but he now has obstacles in his path if he is to return to Bruce’s first-team.
And it will be up to Grealish to prove that Villa are a better team with him included in the coming weeks, otherwise he could be set for an even longer spell on the sidelines.
