Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club posted an 11-second video of Thiago on EURO 2020 duty with Spain.
What’s the story?
Well, the footage in question shows Thiago pulling off a baffling piece of skill, which has attracted the attention of Liverpool fans.
It shows the Spaniard roll the ball towards his heel with the sole of his foot, before somehow flicking it up into the air.
Thiago can be seen rolling the ball up his achilles, before flicking it away to a teammate with the heel of his boot.
Usually, we see players flick the ball up with their toes, but rarely have we seen a player use their less-refined heel to pull off the trick.
It was a great piece of skill, which left one fan below asking how that’s even possible.
Why isn’t Luis Enrique playing Thiago?

It’s probably one of the most baffling narratives from EURO 2020.
Why, oh why, is Luis Enrique not playing Thiago more often?
Liverpool’s No.6 has played just 51 minutes of Spain’s run to the EURO 2020 semi-finals.
All of those have come off the bench, as Enrique simply refuses to start the ex-Barcelona maestro.

Thiago is arguably one of the best midfielders in Europe, so it seems pretty strange that he’s not starting for his country.
Nevertheless, at least he won’t be returning to Anfield exhausted.
Let’s see how the Liverpool fans react to the club’s tweet about Thiago…
