A new angle of NFL insider Dianna Russini’s controversy has been revealed after her departure from The Athletic.
For years, Dianna Russini was viewed as one of the most trusted insiders in the NFL as she broke several true stories before they were made official.
However, the last few months have destroyed her credibility because of her alleged affair with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.
Now, yet another story has revealed how Russini used her NFL connections in her day-to-day life.

Dianna Russini allegedly Facetimed NFL head coaches to get out of driving tickets
Despite not being an NFL athlete, Russini is one of the most recognized insiders in the industry. However, according to John Frascella on X, Russini took unfair advantage of her contacts in the league.
“According to today’s scathing & explosive article, Dianna Russini, when getting pulled over for a ticket, would Facetime NFL head coaches to get out of the tickets,” Frascella revealed.
Considering Russini allegedly made over $800k annually before losing her job at The Athletic, this is a surprising detail, to say the least.
But are there any examples of Russini using these methods? Well, Frascella shared an example of the same next.
Dianna Russini once Facetimed the head coach of a cop’s favorite NFL team
While Frascella didn’t take any names, he did reveal an example of how Russini would get out of driving tickets using this method.
“In one example, she asked the cop’s favorite team, then Facetimed the team’s head coach, he picked up… and Russini got out of the ticket,” Frascella concluded.
Once again, no names were taken, but fans quickly connected the dots and believe it’s none other than Patriots’ Vrabel, whom she called in this example.
After all, Russini and Vrabel’s viral vacation pictures are what led to the affair allegations between the two.
For now, Vrabel has remained rather defensive about these rumors, while Russini has already lost her job. But with each passing day, there seems to be a new story exposing their alleged affair.
