Rose has become a key Tottenham player under the manager.
Danny Rose has become the latest Tottenham Hotspur player to commit his long-term future to the club after signing a new deal until 2021 this week,
The 26-year-old joined the club from Leeds United in 2007 and has made 126 appearances so far. Last season his performances saw him named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.
The Tottenham Hotspur full-back spoke about his delight of signing a new deal, as quoted by The Sun: “It’s been a great couple of week for the club with Dele, Eric, Christian, Harry Winks all signing contracts.
“Everyone knows that the club is going in the right direction and I’m over the moon that I’ll stay here until I’m an old man.”

The England international has a lot to thank manager Mauricio Pochettino for, with the ex Southampton boss rejuvenating his career since joining the club in 2014.
Prior to the appointment of the Argentine, Rose spent the 2012/13 season on loan to Sunderland an saw speculation over his future the following year.
Pochettino came in and promised Rose that if he sticks to his ethos and principles he will make him an England international and so he has. The former Leeds United man has hailed the manager like a father figure, in comments appearing in the Daily Mail: “He’s been like a father figure to myself and a lot of the players here. I owe the manager and his staff a lot of praise and I hope I can continue like this during this season.”

Since he burst onto the scene in 2010 after that spectacular goal against Arsenal, the potential and quality has been there although Rose has needed someone to show genuine belief and stick by him regardless of his performances to live up to it.

Since Pochettino’s arrival in from St Mary’s, Rose has become one of the best left backs in the division and certainly offers Tottenham another dimension going forward, another aspect in which Pochettino has improved on, making him a more composed and confident player at both ends of the pitch.
Danny Rose has much to be thankful for to his manager, although at the age of just 26, he still has so much more to give to the Lilywhites.
