How does Ronaldo feel about Messi winning the World Cup? Many have asked this after Argentina defeated France on penalties in Qatar.
The debate surrounding Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has been alive and kicking for over a decade now, as two of the finest footballers we will ever see divide opinion among millions.
Now, however, the argument has taken a major twist, with Messi able to count the World Cup among his vast range of trophies, something Ronaldo cannot.
So, how does Ronaldo feel about Messi winning the World Cup? It has now been revealed…
How does Ronaldo feel about Messi winning the World Cup?
Well, the Portugal international is not happy – unsurprisingly.
According to MARCA in Spain, the 37-year-old is believed to be “finding it hard to digest” the fact that his great rival has now conquered the world, while he finds himself unemployed.

Ronaldo has endured a difficult winter, as Manchester United terminated his contract following that explosive interview with Piers Morgan, while Portugal crashed out of the World Cup to Morocco at the quarter-final stage.
MARCA add that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is currently spending some time on vacation in Dubai to clear his head, while Messi and his international teammates celebrate back home in Argentina.
Where is Ronaldo going?
After such a turbulent end to 2022 for Ronaldo, many have wondered what the next chapter in his phenomenal career will be.
MARCA believe the Portugal No.7 will fly to Saudi Arabia once his holiday in Dubai is over, where he will then join Al-Nassr on a deal running until June 2025.
Ronaldo will earn €200m (£175m) per season at Al-Nassr, where he has the task of putting Saudi Arabian football in the headlines as they attempt to host the 2030 World Cup.
MARCA add that the deal is considered to be a “state operation” with Ronaldo likely to bring vast amounts of interest to Saudi Arabian football.
Keep an eye on the situation, as the deal could even be confirmed in January.
