Are Celtic going to inadvertently help Scottish Premiership rivals Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers sign a player?

Celtic would never willingly help Rangers secure a transfer, what with them being Old Firm rivals and all.
But that seems to be a genuine possibility.
Rangers are interested in signing Craig Bryson but face competition from Hibernian, according to the print edition of The Express [15/01/2019, page 68].
But the path might be clear for the Gers to sign Bryson if Hibs sign somebody else – and Neil Lennon wants Celtic midfielder Scott Allan.
Lennon admitted to The Daily Record that he would like to have the out-of-favour Hoops man back at Easter Road.
And if Celtic sanction that deal then it would appear as if Steven Gerrard and Mark Allen are free to bring Bryson to Ibrox.
The 32-year-old would be Rangers’ fifth January signing if it materialises, following deals for Steven Davis, Jermain Defoe, Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones – the latter two have signed pre-contract agreements.
Whether he ends up in Glasgow remains to be seen, but it seems like Celtic and Brendan Rodgers could certainly play a role if he does.
