Aston Villa boss Dean Smith has drawn up some very ambitious transfer plans at Villa Park this summer.

Aston Villa’s promotion to the Premier League has seen Dean Smith’s launch some ambitious transfer plans.
Villa appear to have plenty of money to spend, and they have been linked with some very high profile signings.
There is already great excitement around Villa Park about the start of the new campaign, and it is easy to see why.
Smith has been ruthless with his Villa players since promotion, with big changes expected to be made to the squad.
The likes of Alan Hutton, Albert Adomah and Mile Jedinak have all been let go, and some of Villa’s loanees are yet to return.
The claret and blues are unlikely to bring back Axel Tuanzebe and Tammy Abraham, and uncertainty still surrounds a deal for Tyrone Mings.

It means that Smith’s line-up for Villa’s game against Tottenham Hotspur on the first day of next season could look very different to the one which played at Wembley in the play off final.
And here’s our best guess at what Villa’s starting line-up might look like, if Smith gets all of his transfer targets.
4-2-3-1: Jack Butland; Frederic Guilbert, Tyrone Mings, Lewis Dunk, Matt Targett; Kalvin Phillips, John McGinn; Anwar El Ghazi, Jack Grealish, Saed Benrahma; Wesley Moraes.
