James Tomkins
The defender’s 19-year association with the Hammers came to an end in the summer.
Tomkins reunited with former West Ham boss Alan Pardew at Premier League rivals Crystal Palace and scored in his first league start against Stoke City in September. He has remained a regular in the Eagles line-up, despite the team’s poor form and the subsequent sacking of Pardew.
The 28-year-old, now managed by another ex-Irons boss Sam Allardyce, picked up an injury in the 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend which could rule him out for the remainder of the season.
Elliot Lee
Lee made a free transfer switch to Championship side Barnsley in July.
The forward has seen his opportunities limited to late substitute appearances in Paul Heckingbottom’s over-achieving Tykes team. According to ESPN, Lee attracted interest from Chinese Super League outfit Henan Jianye during the winter transfer window.
Diego Poyet and Joey O’Brien
Following his release in the summer, Poyet spent six months looking for a new club before joining top flight Argentinian side CD Godoy Cruz. The midfielder, who is the son of Tottenham Hotspur favourite Gus Poyet, is yet to feature in the league for the Tomba.
Meanwhile, O’Brien is still on the hunt for a new club.
Dimitri Payet
The Payet transfer saga dominated most of the winter transfer window until he exited the Premier League for Ligue 1 side Marseille.
The France international has grabbed four assists and three goals on his return to the Stade Velodrome. This included one of his trademark free-kicks in the 1-1 home draw with struggling Dijon.
