Middlesbrough have a host of players that are currently on loan.

Middlesbrough are currently in 10th place in the Championship, with Garry Monk’s side having found consistency hard to come by this season.
The club will be closely monitoring the progress that their various players have made on loan this season as they assess whether any of them will be able to get into the first-team picture.
Here’s an assessment of how each of Middlesbrough’s loanees are getting on.
Connor Ripley
The goalkeeper, who has had several loan spells away from Middlesbrough, is currently with Championship side Burton Albion.
However, he has found game time difficult to come by this season and has featured just twice in the league.
Antonio Barragan

The experienced right-back has returned to his native Spain with Real Betis.
So far this season Barragan has featured regularly for Betis, who are in 12th place in La Liga.
Julien De Sart
A talented defensive midfielder, De Sart is another player who has returned to his homeland, in his case with Zulte Waregem in Belgium.
He has been a mainstay in the side and gained valuable experience playing in the Europa League.
Callum Cooke
The young attacking midfielder is with League One side Blackpool until the end of the season.
Cooke has been heavily involved, scoring twice and providing three assists in the league.
Matty Elsdon
Centre-back Elsdon is with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the second tier of Scottish football.
Elsdon hasn’t received much playing time, however, and could return to Middlesbrough in January when his loan expires.
George Miller
Miller, a young striker, is on a short-term loan spell with National League club Wrexham.
Having featured against Macclesfield earlier this month he will hope for more game time before returning to Middlesbrough.
Joe Fryer
A goalkeeper who progressed through the ranks at Middlesbrough’s academy, Fryer is at League Two side Stevenage.
It has been a difficult time for the shot-stopper, however, as he has conceded 33 times in 22 games.
Callum Johnson
Right-back Johnson is also a product of Middlesbrough’s youth system and is on loan at Accrington Stanley until January.
So far this season he has featured seven times in League Two and has also been involved in the FA Cup.
Alex Pattison
The exciting midfielder has joined National League side York City on a short loan deal.
Pattison has stated that he hopes to move on loan to a Football League side in January.
Robbie Tinkler
A defensive-minded midfielder, Tinkler is in the National League with Gateshead.
He has received plenty of playing time and is now featuring at right-back having been used in midfield earlier in the campaign.
Harry Chapman

The winger is on loan at League One club Blackburn Rovers.
Although he was heavily involved earlier in the campaign, Chapman’s progress has been halted by a hamstring injury that has kept him out for several weeks.
Joao Morelli
The Brazilian attacker is in Estonia with Levadia.
Although the low quality of the league has to be taken into account, Morelli has still been rather impressive, scoring 17 times in 22 appearances.
