We find out how the likes of Adam Reach, Mustapha Carayol and Adam Jackson have fared in their post-Middlesbrough careers.

Adam Reach

Reach is enjoying life under Carlos Carvalhal at Sheffield Wednesday.

The winger has only missed one Championship game since joining the Owls in late August. Reach, 24, has contributed four assists and three goals to his side’s efforts, including the opener against Queens Park Rangers earlier in the month.

Albert Adomah

Adomah has won plaudits for his performances in a struggling Aston Villa side. The Championship club have the former Boro man to thank for three goals and eleven assists so far this campaign.

David Nugent

Nugent joined Steve McClaren at Derby County in January.

The former England manager has since left Pride Park but Nugent remains a regular under Gary Rowett. The forward, who opened his Rams account with a late winner against Barnsley, bagged a hat-trick in the recent 4-2 win over in-form Fulham.

Emilio Nsue

Nsue’s winter transfer move has not worked out as planned.

The right-back has only been on the winning side on two occasions for a Birmingham City team hurtling towards the Championship drop zone. According to the Birmingham Mail, he had to be restrained in a tense confrontation with a teammate following the disappointing draw against Rotherham United.

Adam Jackson

The Barnsley defender has seen his chances limited in an over-achieving Barnsley side. The centre-back last featured in the 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest back in February.

Mustapha Carayol

Likewise, Carayol has not been able to string together a consistent run of games for Nottingham Forest. The winger, who has made three starts since the turn of the year, did score his first Forest goal in the recent 3-2 win over promotion hopefuls Reading.

Rhys Williams

Injury-stricken Williams is playing his football in Australia.

The versatile 28-year-old joined A-League outfit Perth Glory in the summer and has made 15 appearances so far. As reported by Perth Now, Williams could be set for a move to A-League rivals Melbourne Victory once the season is over.
