We find out how the likes of Mario Balotelli, Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure are getting on in their post-Liverpool careers.

Martin Skrtel

Skrtel has been in fine form for Turkish top-flight side Fenerbahce.

The centre-back has only missed one league game all season, helping his team to ten clean sheets in 27 appearances. Skrtel, 32, scored a wonderful goal in their 3-2 defeat to Konyaspor last month.

Luis Alberto

Alberto has seen his opportunities limited at Lazio.

The Spaniard’s only Serie A starts of the season came in January wins over Crotone and Atalanta. He recently bagged a last-gasp goal, his first for the club, to secure a point for Lazio against Genoa.

Joao Teixeira

Likewise, Teixeria has been restricted to substitute appearances for title chasing Porto. He set up the fourth goal in Nuno Espirito Santo side’s win over Rio Ave in January.

Mario Balotelli

French club OGC Nice have already seen the best and worst of Balotelli.

The 26-year-old kicked off his stay at the Allianz Riviera with match-winning braces against Marseille and Monaco. He has continued this goal-scoring form by netting 13 times in 20 games, including a recent double away to LOSC Lille.

It hasn’t all been roses for Balotelli, as the Italian international collected red cards against FC Metz and Montpellier.

Kolo Toure

The centre-back is on course for a domestic title sweep with Scottish giants Celtic. Toure, who reunited with Brendan Rodgers at Celtic Park in the summer, has made five league starts for the Scottish Premiership champions this season.

Samed Yesil

Yesil’s four-year stay at Anfield ended in the summer.

The 22-year-old free agent joined Panionios in January. After eight appearances, he is yet to find his first goal for the Greek Superleague high-flyers.

Tiago Ilori

Ilori’s frustrating spell in English football continues.

The centre-back, whose Reading side look set for the Championship play-offs, has missed most of the second-half of the campaign with an ankle injury. He made the bench in recent weeks and could feature for the Royals in the coming crucial weeks.

Christian Benteke

Benteke has rediscovered his goal-scoring touch with Crystal Palace.

His brace against Liverpool last weekend saw the Belgian international reach 14 goals for the relegation-threatened Eagles. He also scored the winner against table topping Chelsea earlier this month.

Jordon Ibe and Brad Smith

The Bournemouth duo have had to settle for a spot on Eddie Howe’s bench for most of the campaign. Out of the two, Ibe has seen the most first-team action, although this only includes two league starts since the turn of the year.

Joe Allen

Welshman, Allen, has missed two Premier League games all season for under-achieving Stoke City. The former Swansea City man is the club’s third top scorer after netting six goals for the Potters.
