France picked up a thumping 5-0 friendly win over Paraguay on Friday evening, with Moussa Sissoko stunning many by finding himself on the scoresheet.
Didier Deschamps’ men took on Paraguay in Rennes on Friday, with games against Sweden and England still to come this month.

France fans will have been pleased with such a convincing victory in a game they will have thoroughly expected to win, but Spurs fans were left shocked by Sissoko’s goal.

A signing from Newcastle last summer, Sissoko struggled for Spurs this past season, failing to score in any competition whilst only notching two Premier League assists.
Many expect the 27-year-old to leave Spurs this summer, and whilst he has struggled to nail a first-team place under Mauricio Pochettino, he has somehow managed to keep his place in the France squad.

After his goal against Paraguay, many Spurs fans took to Twitter to question just how Sissoko even got into Deschamps’ squad, never mind managed to find the back of the net.
Others simply looked at Sissoko’s future, suggesting that his goal could give Spurs the chance to sell him on this summer and bring an end to his miserable spell in North London.
