Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is hopeful that Bukayo Saka’s injury is nothing serious.

The Gunners made it two Premier League wins on the spin by winning 1-0 away to Brighton & Hove Albion last night.

But the victory was somewhat soured by scenes during the second half.

Saka, a huge player for Arsenal in recent weeks, could be heard crying out in pain with 10 minutes remaining, shortly before being taken off for Dani Ceballos.

But the 19-year-old was photographed smiling at the full-time whistle and Arteta is optimistic that it’s nothing to worry about.

He told Football London: “Hopefully not [serious]. He was limping, but I think he took a strong challenge there but hopefully he will be fine.”

Originally, Arsenal fans on Twitter were very concerned by tweets relating to the level of pain that Saka was in.

Here’s how some reacted to it on social media:

Saka, a member of the club’s academy, has been a revelation for the Emirates Stadium side as of late and now that things are finally going well, Arteta doesn’t need another injury to contend with.
