Andrea Radrizzani told beIN SPORTS (02/11/20 at 7:40 pm) that he is hoping Marcelo Bielsa can stay at Leeds ‘for long’ and they are dealing with his future on a yearly basis.
The Leeds owner did point out that the popular 65-year-old is ‘not a young manager’ and shared how his family and wife are back home in Argentina.
This is Bielsa’s third season in Yorkshire and he will be hoping to push them as far up the Premier League table as possible this term.
During an interview with ex-Sky Sports duo Andy Gray and Richard Keys, the former asked whether he is confident Bielsa will still be here in 3-5 years time and if he is planning for life without him.
“Yes. I hope he can stay with us for long,” said Radrizanni. “But I like to decide year by year because I have said in other interviews, he is not a young manager. He is 65 and his family and wife are in Argentina.
“Besides that, we decide every year. Hopefully, he can stay longer, but even if not then what he is building is the foundations of a proper club. I say that [because] I am convinced of his job.
“Not only what you can see every game. But what we have done in terms of changing facilities, the work ethic and the method. It really reflect what I wanted to at the club, so I am very pleased with his job.”

When Bielsa first walked through the pressured gates of Elland Road, they were sitting mid-table in the Championship and they were in need of a lift.
Bielsa brought that in bucket loads whilst sitting on his bucket on the touchline and implementing a highly-demanding way of playing upon his players.
In truth, whilst Bielsa has set the strongest of foundations for the man that will replace him down the line, whoever does try to fill his shoes, they will be in for a seriously difficult job.
