Premier League Arsenal have an admirer in the shape of Bordeaux’s Ligue 1 striker Josh Maja.

Bordeaux striker Josh Maja admits he would love to return to London one day with Arsenal his dream destination, speaking to BeIN Sports.
A man who took the Jadon Sancho route in January 2018 by heading across the Channel has been linked with a route back to England in recent months.
Maja scored goals for fun at Sunderland prior to his £3.5 million move to Wine Country and the likes of Aston Villa, Burnley and Everton have been tipped to offer him a chance in the Premier League for the very first time.
But, given the choice, the Lewisham-born 21-year-old would jump at the chance to pull on the famous red and white shirt of Arsenal.
“Obviously, growing up in London, one of my dreams is to play in the Premier League,” said a one-time Manchester City youngster.
“Hopefully in the future, that opportunity will come.
“My team is Arsenal, so hopefully one day I’ll get the opportunity to play for them. If not, then I’ll keep supporting them anyway.”

Maja won’t need us to tell him that he has a long way to go before he can catch the eye of a club of Arsenal’s stature. Seven goals in 21 games this season represents a more than respectable return but the once-capped Nigeria international is still very much a raw talent with plenty of raw edges.
Then again, in Mikel Arteta, Arsenal have a manager who has shown plenty of faith in youth since taking over at the Emirates with Bukayo Saka, Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Martinelli regular starters.
