Liverpool v Manchester United is on the horizon and the encounter could potentially have permutations with regards transfers, too.
At least, that’s what Sky Germany journalist Florian Pettenberg tweeted on Sunday afternoon.
Speculation is mounting that Naby Keita could leave Liverpool before the summer transfer window shuts.
The same journalist revealed earlier this week that negotiations over a new contract have now stopped, with the Guinea international’s existing arrangement expiring in 10 months time.
Despite Liverpool having no Jordan Henderson in the first XI against Crystal Palace last week, and with Thiago sidelined, Jurgen Klopp didn’t start Keita against the Eagles.
And according to Pettenberg, the visit to Manchester United is ‘very important’ in the context of whether the £52 million signing from 2018 decides to stay on Merseyside or not.

It’ll be interesting to see if Klopp does indeed start him at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
The problem for Klopp is that he cannot really justify keeping the former Leipzig midfielder on the bench once again.
It might’ve been okay against Palace because Keita had missed the opening-weekend draw at Fulham through illness.
But having trained all week, there is no excuse for the Liverpool manager to keep him in reserve, particularly with the German boss already missing so many players in a similar position.
Failure to use him from the start against Manchester United might just result in the player stepping up his efforts to leave Anfield.
