Some Everton fans on social media have been reacting after they were linked with a move for Antwerp defender Aurelio Buta.
Buta could join the Toffees for just £3m, which would be something of a bargain fee for the right-back.
Buta had been strongly linked with a move to Celtic, but now it seems as though Everton could pip them to this signing.
As you can imagine, a transfer rumour like this sparked something of a reaction from the fanbase, and it’s fair to say some supporters are excited.
Everton certainly need a right-back through the door this summer, and while they look set to miss out on Denzel Dumfries, who is reportedly closing in on a move to Inter, it seems as though Buta could be the man the Toffees look towards.
One thing that Everton fans were particularly excited about was Buta’s pace, with numerous supporters commenting on the speed the full-back possesses.
