Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and West Ham United have been linked with Andrea Belotti but Torino teammate Tomas Rincon is desperate to see the Serie A skipper stay in Italy, speaking to Tuttosport.
It would be unfair to label the Granata a one-man team.
But there can be no doubting Belotti, an Italy international with a superb scoring record in Serie A, is the man who elevates all those around him. The spoonful of sugar that makes the flavours pop that little bit more.
The long-serving captain is out of contract in 2022, however, and Torino have a difficult decision to make. Do they cash in on their free-scoring talisman?
Or risk losing him for nothing two summers from now?
According to Corriere Granata, Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton have identified Belotti as a striker capable of easing the goalscoring burden on Dominic Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park.
West Ham are keen too, as is a Tottenham side that appears increasingly unlikely to keep Benfica loanee Carlos Vinicius beyond this season.
“We hope he stays, he’s our captain,” former Juventus ace Rincon said when asked about Belotti’s future.

“He drives us, just see how he chases the opponents. He has given us so much joy with his goals.
“He’s important to us. I hope he can stay here for a long time.”
Corriere Granata believes Torino plan to offer Belotti, who has scored 103 goals in 220 games, a new and improved contract worth £42,000 a week.
It’s not difficult to imagine Tottenham, West Ham or Everton handing the powerhouse centre-forward a far bigger deal in the Premier League.
