West Bromwich Albion and Liverpool drew 1-1 at The Hawthorns earlier today.
Liverpool missed out on the chance to go nine points clear of Manchester United in the race for a Champions League place as they drew 1-1 with West Bromwich Albion.
Daniel Sturridge put the visitors ahead midway through the first-half, when he tapped in a Luis Suarez cross. But the Baggies went for it after the interval and ultimately got their reward when a poor pass from Kolo Toure only found Victor Anichebe and the former Everton striker scored.
In a game of few clear-cut chances, the sides each had 50% of the possession and seven shots on target between them.
The result means Liverpool are two points clear of fifth-placed Everton while West Brom are a point clear of the relegation-zone.
