Rangers fans on social media are tweeting their support for linked-away winger Jordan Jones.
The 25-year-old didn’t feature for the Gers in last week’s Premiership opener away to Aberdeen.
Afterwards, there was speculation about Rangers boss Steven Gerrard putting him up for sale for £500,000 following a difficult first season at Ibrox.
But Gerrard gave the Northern Ireland international a 24-minute cameo in the Europa League defeat by Bayer Leverkusen on Thursday night.
That perhaps indicates that Jones isn’t completely out of the frame in Glasgow.
Amid the speculation, Jones posted a photo of himself on Twitter, followed by two emojis – one football, and one blue heart.
The former Kilmarnock star is daft about Rangers and grew up supporting the Scottish giants, and this tweet perhaps suggests that he wants to stay.
Here’s how fans responded to him on social media:
Rangers are back in action against St Mirren in the Premiership tomorrow, and it’ll be interesting to see if he follows up his European outing with another.
