Matt Doherty has been taking part in a Q&A session on Twitter, where he was asked a question about training at Tottenham.
What’s the story?
Well, the 30-year-old was quizzed on who puts in the most work during sessions under Antonio Conte at Hotspur Way.
Doherty refused to single anyone out, instead saying that everybody gives an equal amount of effort as they’d be called out if they didn’t.
You can see what the Dublin-born defender wrote on Twitter in full below.
Clearly, nobody at Tottenham wants to run the risk of angering Conte by not pulling their weight at Hotspur Way.
In our view, that’s good to hear. Sometimes, a bit of fear can be a good thing, and if the Italian’s fiery side keeps the Spurs players on their toes, then it can only be a positive.
Matt Doherty starting to shine at Tottenham

When Nuno Espirito Santo arrived in N17, many people felt Doherty would benefit from a reunion with his former Wolves boss.
However, instead of the Portuguese coach, it’s Conte who’s starting to get a tune out of the Irishman.
Doherty has scored one goal, while providing three assists, in his last four Premier League games, as he grabs his opportunity with both hands.

Emerson Royal won’t get another sniff at this rate.
It has been a tough time for Doherty in north London since his £14.7m move from Wolves in August 2020, although things are finally starting to look up for him under Conte’s guidance.
