West Ham United fans have hit back at Jack Wilshere after he claimed that there wasn’t a place for him in their midfield because he was too ‘technical’, as he told the ITV Football Podcast.

Ever since David Moyes arrived in East London, Wilshere, who had been away from the treatment room for several months, had found it tough breaking, not just into the starting XI, but his matchday squad.

Both parties opted to part ways in the summer and the ex-Arsenal academy product is now a free agent.

But his comments about not being able to get ahead of the likes of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek because he is ‘technical’ didn’t sit well with the Hammers faithful.

Some pointed out that he could have left the club with the respect of the supporters behind him, but they feel he has ruined that now.

Wilshere joined West Ham, a team that he supported as a kid, in the hope of turning around his injury-ravaged career.
