Bournemouth supporters on Twitter were once again praising Tottenham loanee Cameron Carter-Vickers for his performance on Easter Monday.
The Cherries, who are managed by Tottenham legend Jonathan Woodgate, recorded a valuable 2-0 win against Blackburn.
Once again, Carter-Vickers was impressive at the back, as the Spurs man continues to showcase his potential after a number of troublesome loan spells in England’s second-tier.
Bournemouth may well be heading back to the Premier League this summer and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham opt against offering the American a new contract.
Carter Vickers’ contract at Spurs is up at the end of this current campaign and it seems as though Bournemouth, whether they are in the Championship or the Premier League, would be an ideal place for him.
There just doesn’t seem to be anything that suggests he still has a career in North London, unless Jose Mourinho states otherwise, but will he even be at the club?
Either way, Carter Vickers is becoming a bit of a fan favourite with those on the South Coast and it’s boosting his profile.
