Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that he was impressed by the display produced by Richarlison against Fulham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this weekend.
Conte’s Tottenham got the better of Fulham 2-1 at home in the London derby.
Brazil international forward Richarlison, who moved to Spurs from Everton in the summer transfer window, started the match and played well.
The former Watford star had a goal disallowed and was praised by Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer on Match of the Day on BBC One.
Tottenham head coach Conte has also hailed the 25-year-old for his performance on his first start in the league for the North London club.

Antonio Conte on Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison
Conte said about Richarlison: “For me he played in an amazing way, honestly, honestly. Richy with Lenglet today because don’t forget Lenglet, played very well.
“With personality, with quality, also found difficult passes between the lines. These two players, about the new players, these two players came into our idea of football quickly.
“Richy played really well and in this way I’m also more relaxed. Because when you play every three days sometimes you need to give a bit of rest.”
Encouraging
In our view, Richarlison played well for Tottenham Hotspur against Fulham and showed what he is capable of.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane has praised the Brazilian and has said that he is enjoying playing with him.
Now, Richarlison is not a world-class player, but he is certainly a very good footballer who can get even better.
Richarlison is a regular in the Brazil squad, and that shows how highly he is rated.
