Tottenham Hotspur are doing extremely well at the moment.

In fact, Ange Postecoglou’s side are in such good form that they are above Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League table.

Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from eight matches.

Tottenham are level on points with North London rivals Arsenal, who are second.

Defending champions Manchester City are third on 18 points, while Liverpool in fourth have picked up 17 points.

Tottenham’s main objective at the start of the season was to end up in the top four of the Premier League table.

But, maybe, maybe, they could actually launch a challenge for the title.

After all, Spurs are still unbeaten in the Premier League.

Tottenham have scored 18 goals and have conceded only eight.

Gary Neville on Tottenham Hotspur challenging for Premier League title

Former Manchester United defender Gary Neville has been hugely impressed by Spurs.

However, the Sky Sports pundit does not think that Tottenham have what it would take to win the title this season.

Neville said on his podcast: “I don’t think Tottenham can stay in it over a 38-game season is my honest opinion.

“I think the squad will get found out in the end.”

My View: Tottenham Hotspur should aim for Premier League title

In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur should aim for the Premier League title this season.

Why not?

When Arsenal started doing well in the opening weeks and months of last season, they were aiming for the top four at the time.

Then Arsenal changed their objective and went for the Premier League.

Why can’t it be the case with Tottenham?

If Spurs continue to win matches in the Premier League in the coming weeks and months, then they have to be considered among the challengers for the title.
