Wolverhampton Wanderers return to Championship action following the international break with a home encounter against Nigel Clough’s newly-promoted Burton Albion.
Wolves have made a solid start to life under new boss Walter Zenga, picking up eight points from their opening five matches with two wins, two draws and a single defeat.
The West Midlands side have shown on occasions what they are capable of, with their performance at Birmingham City very much what you’d expect from a top six side.
Burton are no pushovers and have made a good start to the season, yet on their travels they have conceded six goals in two games and should Woves hit top gear they could be on the receiving end of a couple more.

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Barnsley (September 13)
Wolves follow up their game with Burton with another home match against another one of the newly-promoted sides in Barnsley.
The Tykes currently sit third in the Championship table with three wins from five, but like Burton they have conceded six from their opening two away matches – losing them both.
Barnsley arguably pose more of an attacking threat than Burton, but they have struggled to keep them out on their travels and it’s difficult to envisage that coming to a stop at Molineux.

Newcastle United v Wolverhampton Wanderers (September 17)
Wolves end the week with a trip to St. James’ Park, and with NewcastleUnited starting to find some form this will most certainly be manager Walter Zenga’s biggest test so far this season.
The Wanderers haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet on their travels thus far, and despite looking more solid at the back than in previous seasons they may struggle in this one.
Rafa Benitez’s side have goals from all over the park, and they will fancy their chances of ending the week on a high by picking up all three points on Tyneside following back-to-back away games.
