The Blues continued at the top of the Premier League with a 3-0 win.

Chelsea had an extra fan in their ranks in Saturday’s game with Aston Villa, as Samuel L Jackson was in attendance to see the Blues comfortably beat the Midlands outfit.

The Pulp Fiction and Avengers Assemble star was in West London courtesy of an invitation from Adidas, alongside, somewhat bizarrely, David Walliams of Little Britain fame.

An actor famous for his quotable lines, Jackson was clearly delighted to be part of the action at Stamford Bridge, boasting “It’s about to jump off!” ahead of kickoff.

The 65-year-old took a selfie both before and after the Chelsea and Aston Villa players lined up, with his trademark hat and sunglasses peaking into the frame in either picture.

He would have certainly have been impressed with the Blues performance, with an early goal by Oscar putting Jose Mourinho’s side ahead. Villa then defended well for a large portion of the game, before further goals from Diego Costa and Willian sealed the result in the second half.

With Chelsea continuing to lead the way in the Premier League, Jackson may not be the only Hollywood star to make an appearance at Stamford Bridge.
