Nottingham Forest’s Britt Assombalonga scores
Former Queens Park Rangers and Crystal Palace manager Ian Holloway has told Sky Sports that the game between Brentford and Nottingham Forest on Tuesday evening will end in a draw.
Brentford and Forest will face each other at Griffin Park in the Championship this evening.
Holloway believes that the match will finish 1-1 and has backed Forest striker Britt Assombalonga to score the first goal.
“Brentford were a side I was not holding out too much hope for after they sold Jake Bidwell and David Button during the summer but after a disappointing start at Huddersfield, they picked up a superb result against Ipswich,” Holloway told Sky Sports.
“They will be looking to follow that up with victory against Forest at Griffin Park, but I’m expecting a tight affair in west London.
“It’s always difficult for any new manager to come into the Championship – just ask Rafael Benitez – but Forest will be hoping Philippe Montanier can get up to speed quickly.
“He will be helped by the fact he has a proven goalscorer in Britt Assombalonga available, who I’m backing to score first in this one.”
A footnote added: “OLLIE PREDICTS: 1-1 (5/1 with Sky Bet).”

Brentford will head into the match against Forest at Griffin Park on the back of a 2-0 home victory over Ipswich Town in the Championship.
The Bees will be confident of picking up all three points from the encounter against the Reds this evening.
Dean Smith’s side made a disappointing start to the season, losing first to Huddersfield Town in the Championship and then to Exeter City in the first round of the EFL Cup.

Forest kicked off their 2016-17 campaign with a 4-3 victory over Burton Albion at the City Ground in the Championship.
The Reds then got the better of Doncaster Rovers 2-1 away from home in the first round of the EFL Cup.
However, at the weekend, Philippe Montanier’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Brighton & Hove Albion in the league.
Striker Assombalonga has scored two goals in one Championship appearance for Forest so far this season.
