Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter as their reported target, Pape Matar Sarr, has started to like a number of the club’s Instagram posts.
Eagle-eyed Villa fans on Twitter have noticed the highly-rated teenager’s actions on social amid those rumours about the Midlands giants wanting him.
French journalist, Joris Crolbois, stated on Twitter that Villa are leading the chase for the midfielder’s signature, as cited by the Birmingham Mail.
Ever since Villa stepped back into the elite, they have shown their financial muscle by splashing the cash on several high-quality players.
Added with that, they have also kept their star man, Jack Grealish, onboard and penned him down to a new deal, as they aim to get back into Europe and challenge for trophies.
And these hints on Instagram from Sarr are exciting the Villa faithful, who already have the signing of Emi Buendia to look forward to.
The summer transfer window officially opened today, but that hasn’t stopped those in the Villa Park boardroom from landing the early blows of the market.
Last summer, many felt that the Midlands outfit were one of the best spenders, with the captures of Ollie Watkins, Matty Cash and Emi Martinez, to name a few – the latter was the club’s Player of the Season, whilst the ex-Brentford man is now an England international.
And it wouldn’t be a surprise if they are heading down the same road this time around if rumours are to be true.
