Pierre Emile Hojbjerg has praised Tottenham Hotspur’s coaching staff on the club’s official website.
Hojbjerg has only been with Tottenham for just over a week now, after arriving from Southampton, but he has already made a positive impression.
Hojbjerg helped Tottenham to a 3-0 win over Ipswich Town in their first pre-season friendly, with his pressing from midfield helping to create the second goal.
And Hojbjerg seems to be really enjoying his time at Tottenham so far.
“The guy’s are good, the coaching staff are fantastic,” he enthused.
“The whole surrounding around the team is well set-up, it’s really good.
“There is an environment around the team where everyone wants to be better and have no excuses. As a human being and as a footballer it’s a great place to be.”
Hojbjerg is tipped to be a crucial signing for Spurs, as there is a feeling he could be the perfect player for Jose Mourinho’s system.

Hojbjerg possesses a great amount of defensive discipline and should allow Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele far more freedom to roam forward, if he is partnered with them.
Tottenham’s start to pre-season was certainly encouraging, as they showed real flashes of quality against Ipswich, although harder tests will lie ahead.
Spurs begin their Premier League campaign on September 12th, with a game against Everton.
