It’s been a very good start to life on loan for Tottenham Hotspur’s Oliver Skipp.

The 20-year-old midfielder signed for Norwich City on a season-long loan from Spurs earlier this summer.

And on Friday, it was announced that Skipp had won City’s Player of the Month award for September.

That right there illustrates his smooth transition to life in the Championship and here’s how Tottenham and Norwich fans reacted to the announcement on Twitter:

Skipp might just be the most promising young player from the Lilywhites’ academy.

Yes, they have the likes of Troy Parrott too, but Skipp already has 15 Premier League appearances under his belt.

The defensive midfielder has a big future ahead of him and it’ll be fascinating to see if he can maintain this standard for the whole campaign.

If he does, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho will be watching and maybe, just maybe, he stays in North London next season.
